Its been a while since I posted anything musical. Lately, I haven't been motivated honestly. Not from lost of interest, but because of personal reasons. I still love music like my first born. This has to be one of my finest crafted sets. Every song in this mix is something special to me. Need be if it reminds me of someone or sometime in my life, I feel like I gave birth to it almost lol.

When i was mixing tonight, I realized how much I love using Upfaders. Most of you don't realize how much you can dress a song transition in a mix.

Here's an example:

Transition #1 = No Upfader Play (Songs: Spor - Supernova > Andy Skopes - State of Grace)
(Vocals don't stand out)

Transition #2 = Matching Upfader Play With Vocals (Songs: Spor - Supernova > Andy Skopes - State of Grace)
(Vocals stand out with a pause nudge)

Transition #3 = No Upfader Play (Songs: Spor - Supernova > Noisia - Diplodocus)
(Just a very standard mix transition)

Transition #4 = Matching Synth Upfader Play (Songs: Spor - Supernova > Noisia - Diplodocus)
(Gets a little 2 Step-ish and bouncy. Very good for pleasing live crowds)

Now for my DJ's, It's an everyday logistic. But for the uneducated, maybe you'll realize why you have some much more fun in the club. Time to get back in there and find more treats!

My mixing has come pretty far from my first mix. I had my first real gig 2 weeks ago and I'm hungry for the next. Kevin & I have been hitting the beats and coming up with some really good stuff. Even if its only a hobby for us, some of our tunes have a lot of potential if we had more developed skills in production.

MGS4 is looking like the most anticipated/hyped game ever in the history of gaming. Many Reviewer sites have already seen and finished the FULL version of the game played by Hideo Kojima (Series Creator) himself. This game is looking nothing shy of a perfect 10 if the director/creator/writer is asking the people what do they think so far and what would they like to see in the "last" installment of the series. This game is going in the history books for either one of the biggest games or one of the biggest flops (lol NO).
